Patch.com Donating $3,000 to Local Nonprofits

Help Salvation Army Win a Share

By: Elizabeth Koch, Midland Division

Patch.com employees are doing more than volunteering themselves during their Give 5 Days — they are donating up to $3,000 to local nonprofits. By visiting Patch.com, people can help give back to the nonprofit of their choice, such as The Salvation Army, through simply signing up for a newsletter.

Each time The Salvation Army is nominated, Patch will donate $1 of the $3,000 sum to The Salvation Army’s efforts. Nominations will close at 5:00 p.m. June 10.

Besides receiving an informative newsletter about news and events happening in the St. Louis community, new subscribers also can feel a sense of satisfaction knowing they’ve helped make a difference through The Salvation Army.
