We would like to extend an enormous Thank-You to all those who helped make our Target Back-To-School event possible on Tuesday, July 24.
This event was such a success! The kids were so excited and grateful to be getting trendy school supplies that will give them a solid education. Smiles were seen all over the store – on kids, volunteers, and Target workers’ faces!
This event was greatly successful due to the wonderful volunteers from U.S. Bank, Bank of America and others. We also appreciate Target for donating gift cards for the shopping spree. And of course we are very grateful to the Target store in Brentwood, MO, who allowed us to use their facilities. Thank you to all!
For those of you who donated your time, money, or resources – a child’s life was bettered because of your efforts. We have given children a fun day of shopping, and a great year at school that they might not otherwise experience. Your volunteering efforts will last longer than that one morning at Target. Those children, their families, and The Salvation Army are forever grateful!
