For more than a decade, the popular Toy Town program has helped ensure more St. Louis children wake up to a present under their tree on Christmas morning. It also provides families with vouchers to purchase groceries for Christmas dinner.

St. Louis Union Station celebrates the return of the Kansas City Southern Holiday Express for the first time since 2004 this holiday season on December 14th. Visitors are welcome to board the train and tour the inside of three different cars on the six car train. Santa and his elves have brought along the sleigh, the reindeer, and the elves’ workshop in addition to a ginger bread box car , the reindeer stable, and little red caboose. All of these are led by the smiling engine “Rudy” and festively dressed in lights.
Many fun activities await for the young and young at heart. Multiple musical groups will be performing at this event and children’s activities will be available throughout Union Station.
