Senior Citizens (55+) are the fasted-growing demographic in the United States. Because of this, The Salvation Army views the work they do for seniors to be amongst the most important work done. Each year, thousands of older adults are served through Salvation Army programs. In community centers, seniors gather to socialize, learn new skills and to have new experiences.
Lunch programs, pre-retirement seminars, educational classes, faith and fellowship are all at the corps of our Senior Services. At Camp Mihaska, seniors are afforded the opportunity to enjoy nature and to commune with God in His beautiful creation. At our Booth Manor Senior Living Center, seniors can live in an atmosphere of love, acceptance and encouragement.
