One of the cornerstones of Salvation Army programming is work to free individuals from the bonds of drug and alcohol addiction. Through detox and rehabilitation programs that follow the traditional 12 steps, while focusing on the forgiveness and love of Jesus Christ, individuals who have failed at previous attempts to achieve sobriety are able to start their lives anew.
Homeless addicted men can seek addiction through the Harbor Light treatment facility and shelter located on Washington Avenue in the Midtown Alley area.
Those seeking a longer-term more intensive approach may contact our Alcohol Rehabilitation Center at 314-535-0057 to learn about our six-month faith-based recovery program.
